EXPERIENCE SKILLED TRADES LIVE

A visit to YoungGeneration is a must for all career starters: in 2025, there will once again be plenty to experience at the YoungGeneration special and action show.

Young talents as well as parents and teachers will learn interesting facts about everyday training in direct dialogue with trainees and master craftsmen.

Young people were able to find out about and listen to the professions, but also experience them for themselves - at the Professions Rally! The individual guilds offered exciting challenges related to their day-to-day work: If young people completed ten stations and thus collected ten stamps on the rally card, they could win a Saturn voucher worth 20 euros.

Since the 2022/2023 school year, the Day of Crafts has been introduced for all pupils at general education schools in Bavaria. The aim is to convey the benefits of dual training to young people, present the attractive occupational fields in the skilled trades and highlight the wide range of career opportunities. It is mandatory for schools to organise the Day of the Skilled Crafts and is primarily intended for those year groups in which there is a particular focus on career guidance.

A visit to YoungGeneration gives young people the opportunity to try out trades and experience them live.
